At Nyota Youth Sports and Community Service Center we are preparing at-risk young Africans to succeed in sports and in life. Through our soccer program, English classes, scholarship fund, life-skills and leadership development seminars, we’re seeking transformation in individual lives as well as in an entire urban community. With fifty percent of East Africans under the age of 15, we believe we must build hope and life into this next generation.
At NYSAC we’ve seen how sports alone can encourage self esteem and character. Add to that the opportunities available through the wider program and we believe we can achieve our goal of creating influential future leaders who will impact this community, region and, eventually, this nation. Empowering these underprivileged young people with practical input and providing the opportunity to know more about Jesus if they are interested is what NYSAC is all about.
