Weekend at Arusha's Christmas Fair
This year, for the first time, our Wild Hope Artisan's Project hosted our very own booth at Arusha's annual Christmas fair.
What an amazing weekend of support, sales and encouragement we had together! Our team was so proud to represent the many, many Maasai women who carefully work bead and wire into our gorgeous and unusual ornaments and jewelry. We felt a deep sense of gratification as shoppers resonated with the beauty of the product and the great cause each item reflects. It was a real pleasure to display the work of so many worthy women and to feel the generosity of the community of Arusha.
Our one big weekend pleased and exhausted us and reminded us of the many shows, fairs and gatherings that our dear friend, Sharon Reed, has gone to in the United States on behalf of our project. Sharon has championed this project and made a lasting difference in the day to day lives of close to one hundred Maasai women and their families. We are so thankful.
And to the lovely community of Arusha for your enthusiastic shopping in support of Wild Hope's Artisan Project, THANK YOU! If you're in town and would like to peruse our showroom, please call us at 0687 966 120.
We thankful to our wildly creative artist God for helping us to empower a growing number of local African women!
