Pumping Joy!

The little group of Maasai children kept glancing at Byron hesitantly as they tried the new pump that Wild Hope had just installed.  Water is very precious and they were giving it the respect it deserves, carefully trying not to spill a drop as they filled their containers.  But Byron was laughing and egging them on!  "Dunk your head!" he kept urging them in Maa.  Yes, water is always measured out, but this day called for a little celebration.  You should have seen their smiles as they rinsed their dusty selves in the cool, clear water.  Fresh water is a gift!  This well and pump had many givers along the way that helped us get it in place.  Thanks to ALL OF YOU!  You know who you are :-)
